Steve Azar

Steve Azar, the soulful Delta-blues rocker, began writing songs at a very early age back in Mississippi and by the time he graduated from Delta State University, Steve was playing 200 shows a year and touring with two 28-foot trucks and 10 men on the payroll. Within days of arriving in Nashville, he was offered three song-publishing deals and a major recording contract with Mercury Records. He launched a radio phenomenon with his self-penned hit "I Don't Have to Be Me ('Til Monday)", which not only reached #2 on the charts, but has since received more than three million spins on the radio. His Top 10 hit "Waitin’ On Joe," produced a #1 video on CMT featuring Academy Award-winning actor Morgan Freeman and was nominated for the Country Music Association’s Video of the Year. Steve and his wife, Gwen, are known for their philanthropic endeavors, most notably for their work with The Steve Azar St. Cecilia Foundation, which provides aid to sick, disadvantaged and abused children.

James Stroud

Legendary producer James Stroud began his career as an R&B drummer whose discography includes Eddie Rabbitt, Bob Seger, Gladys Knight, Dionne Warwick, Paul Simon, Melissa Manchester, the Pointer Sisters and the Marshall Tucker Band. He has been credited with bringing the pop/rock sound to country music, which has given the genre its younger audience and huge crossover success. Stroud has headed major record labels Giant, DreamWorks, Universal, and in 2008 launched Stroudavarious Records. His production credits include Toby Keith, Willie Nelson, Darryl Worley, Tim McGraw, Melissa Etheridge, Clint Black and Merle Haggard to name a few, with records sales of over 52 million albums worldwide.
